Story & Song

Lummi Nation and Lummi Islanders will gather to share story, song, and salmon. Lummi Hereditary Chief Bill Jame, Lawrence (Happy) Solomon, the Ballew family with the Basket Lady Dance, the Blackhawk Singers, fiddler Bryan Thurber, and Ingrid McGarry with the Beach School Chorus will be on stage.  I’ll be telling a story about my mother’s Lummi Island blackberry jam, and how it called me home.
