Launch for the new book! Reading with Seattle writers Quenton Baker, Michelle Peñaloza, Nahaan, and Chelsea Werner-Jatzke. Music before, after, and sometimes even during, the readings by Entre Mundos Quarteto. Brazilian & danceable! Vermillion Art Gallery & Bar, Capitol Hill, Seattle. 6:30-9:30pm.
26 May: Women on the Brink: Voice & Vision.
Sharing the stage with spoken word artists Sheri-D Wilson, Storme Webber, Blu the Baqi, and Molly Billows. My film based on poems by Emily Dickinson, Beauty Crowds Me, will screen, along with films by Tracy Rector and Melissa Woodrow. Northwest Film Forum, tickets are free and available from brownpapertickets.com. 7-9pm.

Featured reader along with Jessica Mooney, Crystaline Brown, Erika Brumett. Hugo House, whose new & temporary location is at the Frye Art Museum.
16 June: Way Elsewhere at Village Books in Fairhaven
Another launch! More words, more music! I’ll be sharing the stage with violinist Swil Kanim and poet/performer Rena Priest. And teen poet Eliza Julius will read a poem or two as well. Starts at 7pm.
21 June: book signing at Indigo-Granville for Way Elsewhere
A lunch hour affair. Way Elsewhere started out as little fictions written on postcards to friends. If you fill out the address field of a provided postcard, I’ll write to you. Vancouver, BC. 12:30-2pm.
