Films
Julie’s films and music videos have screened internationally at festivals, won various awards, and been broadcast on Bravo!, CBC, England’s Channel 4, CMT and others. CLAIRE was nominated for a Genie (Canada’s Oscars) for Best Dramatic Short. BEAUTY CROWDS ME was part of an instillation at MoMA in New York. Short films she’s written for other directors include BITTER MY TONGUE. She received her training as a Directing Resident at the Canadian Film Centre in Toronto. She now consults on various film and media projects.
